The little closed air roaster got a cleaning after 200kg of beans roasted. Tije modified the air outlet to prevent some beans flying into the chaff collector, improved the probe placement and replaced the steel mesh of the hot air inlet. He temporarily attached a transparent ‘wall’ to observe the flow.

Tije modified his first genaration HG One grinder (which he motorized earlier) to have a grind setting ring somewhat like the later models have.    

A friend who bought my first LONDINIUM some years ago is passing it on to another close coffee pal and I looked uo my old photos of that dear machine:
