The Mouse Catcher's Diary, oct 4th

They called themselves "The Two Houdinis" as they went on their adventures, in and out of drawers, in and out of boxes, always finding a crumb to eat. "If we get in, we get out" was their motto, a simplified version of the warning to "never get into something you can't get out of" that they heard so often it had lost its meaning. And now they're in and they can't get out. They are so young and tiny, it's good that we can release them together.
